Well, 3-D died when it came around the first time and I can only hope that this will be the end of it for now. It's like someone said "Hey, these dance movies suck in 2D. How can we make them even worse?"

LOL! SO true! Man, when I saw that trailer for "Step UP 3-D", I thought I was having a nightmare - a waking nightmare. And so it will be to anyone that sees that movie. It's so wrong.

Unfortunately, the movie itself doesn't seem necessary.

3D was a phase and will be a phase again... pretty soon it's going to reach the lowest common denominator -- just like reality shows on TV. (that happened, right?)

People are going to get stung enough times by bad 3D movies and aren't going to take it anymore.

I remember seeing Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince in which 3D was promised... but only for the first 12 minutes of the movie. People complained. "We paid $3 extra just for that?!"

I think the best use of 3D I've seen so far is in CORALINE. They really used it the way it's ment to be done. MONSTERS VS. ALIENS didn't, I didn't waste my time with any of the other ones out lately like the cracken movie. You can polish crap all you want but it's still just a piece of shit.

I was going through the mall today and saw this and it couldn't fit into anything better than this post. Sad? NO, totally awesome.

Every few years they bring back 3D. Yes, the technology has advanced, but I do not like the 'theater experience' in 3D. In the most basic explanation, I hate wearing the glasses, they become distracting and uncomfortable. I try to see the difference, by looking over the rim and if I am with someone, I giggle whenever I look over at them. I find something very funny about the glasses and staring so intently at the screen.

I am fine without 3D....just give me a comfortable seat, good sound and a focused screen and I will watch it.
